This is... a Pokemon, isn't it? [ Mydeimos has shown him several such creatures that live at his cafe, and at home with him. They're... not terrible. ] I've no issue letting them come close to me, so long as they plan to behave.

I taught at a university. There was not much else in the immediate vicinity.

Style? I... ah. I'm not certain. The fashions in this place are... erratic, to say the least. I would prefer simply to avoid standing out overly much.
